Tour Details

Bring your friends for a day of bowling fun! Your tour includes 3 fixtures, rink fees, tea, coffee & biscuits, and exclusive coach hire to take you wherever you want. Attractions and additional fixtures can be added at an extra cost.

Repeat bookers are treated to perks ranging from complimentary drinks receptions to an exclusive reserved seat on our luxury train and cruise charters.

Arrival day: Your coach picks you up and drops you at the hotel, where porters handle your bags so you can just stroll inside. Once you’ve checked in, you can relax in your room, take a stroll, or squeeze in a visit to a local attraction before dinner. Afterwards, it’s totally your call — relaxed early night to rest before your match, catch up with teammates, relive old memories, have a drink at the bar or taking in the hotel’s entertainment.

Match day: Wake up to a buffet breakfast, grab your bowls gear, and hop back on the coach for your first fixture. After the match, enjoy some refreshments while you chat with your opponents, who’ll feel more like new friends by the end. Then head back to the hotel… or ask the driver to take you anywhere you’d like to explore. Later, enjoy a good meal, unwind, and get ready to do it all again the next day.

Repeat & enjoy: A new day means a new experience and a fresh match against soon-to-be new friends. And if you want a fixture or attraction on your way home, we can sort that out for you (extra charges apply).

Cambridge

Did you know that Dr John Venn — yes, the Venn diagram chap — spent most of his life at Cambridge and once built a mechanical bowling machine that famously bowled out Australian cricketers?

Cambridge invented… reality
Okay, not literally, but the Rules of Reality were actually discussed at the Eagle Pub when Crick and Watson announced they’d discovered the structure of DNA. They basically rewrote science over a pint.

Cambridge & County BC has been rolling since 1928, and their indoor green was one of the first purpose-built ones in the whole country — so you’re playing on real bowls history.
